The Three Pillars of a Satisfying Experience at the Piano
If a piano is beautifully tuned, but the touch is uneven, unresponsive, or hard to control, you won't enjoy playing it.
If a piano has nice touch, but the tone is too harsh or too dull or otherwise unpleasant, you won't enjoy playing it.
If the touch and tone are nice, but it's out of tune, you won't enjoy playing it.
Only when all three aspects are at their best will you really enjoy making music at the piano. That's why I won't just tune your piano and dash off to the next appointment. I always check to make sure that not only the tuning is right, but that the tone and touch are also the best they can be. That way, you and your kids have a piano that is truly enjoyable to play!
